Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Navitaire Product Development
The position is responsible for testing Navitaire complex airline application software to ensure that products meet acceptable standards and end-user requirements. Involvement in testing the application requires collaboration with US colleagues, business analysts, developers and other product development members. The position entails getting functional, technical, and administrative supervision from a team lead but is expected to work with high level of independence.
Key Areas of Responsibility Check/review the test casesContribute to the tracking and resolution of bugsEnsure product testing is completed according to guidelines and standardsInitiate, identify and implement improvements to the test processes and proceduresNotify the Software Test Lead about any major issues that may be encountered during testingPerform all aspects of product testing including functional, component, regression and exploratory testingProvide feedback on test case detail and clarityRun Test Automation Scripts for Regression Testing
REQUIREMENTS: At least 2 years hands-on experience in software testing or automationAirline industry knowledge/experience a plusStrong English oral and written communication skillsGood analytical, problem solving skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environmentTeam player, high initiative and quick learnerMust possess a University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline with good academic records from schools with reputable CS/IT programs.
